13+ years shipping software — production NLP at enterprise scale, AI integrations deployed inside client systems, and real-time interactive work. Founder/CTO of Pulsar Interactive.

Pedro Rodrigo Medina Osorio is a Mexican software engineer based in Bangkok, Thailand. He builds AI systems inside other people's businesses — embedded with the customer, from discovery through production.
As founder and CTO of Pulsar Interactive he ships MCP servers that expose client systems — accounting software, CRMs, call transcripts, internal APIs — as tools for Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini, alongside Nebula, a multi-tenant SaaS platform for document extraction, expense and purchase-order workflows, and approvals across Thai, Spanish, and English. He owns the full line — scoping, architecture, implementation, deployment, and training the team that inherits it — working agent-first, with Claude Code in the loop daily and the MCP tooling that coding agents consume written by hand.
The delivery side is his too. Services run containerised per client — same image, own config and credentials — behind GitHub Actions pipelines that build images, promote staging to production, run database migrations on deploy, and take nightly off-site backups, with rollback paths written down before they are needed. Work delivered in English, Spanish, and Thai.
Before Pulsar he spent five years in travel technology at American Express Global Business Travel, the world's largest business travel company — first as Senior NLP Developer, shipping production pipelines for intent recognition, entity extraction, and dialogue management behind a conversational assistant used by millions of business travelers; then as Technical Project Manager, leading conversational AI delivery across the Americas, APAC, and EMEA. Earlier, as Tech Lead at Eibiz in Bangkok, he architected the CMS running 11,000+ screens across Thailand's 7-Eleven network.
Alongside the engineering, he keeps an audiovisual practice: live-coded performance with TidalCycles and Hydra, AR sculptures animated by live social data, and VR simulations of psychological states exhibited at Centro Nacional de las Artes in Mexico City. Both halves answer the same question — what can a precisely engineered system make you feel? — and the art practice is where new techniques get tried before they reach a client build.
Originally from Mexico City, he studied Computer Engineering at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) — where the data structures and algorithms grounding underneath everything above comes from — and has been based in Bangkok since 2017.

Experience
Build and deploy AI integrations inside client environments — MCP servers exposing customer systems as tools for Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini, plus Nebula, a multi-tenant SaaS platform for document extraction and approvals. Own the full line from discovery through deployment and handoff.
Led technical delivery for conversational AI products at the world's largest business travel company, coordinating cross-functional teams across Americas, APAC, and EMEA. Translated stakeholder requirements into engineering roadmaps and drove end-to-end releases from discovery through production.
Joined AmEx GBT through the acquisition of 30 Seconds to Fly, continuing on the Claire SaaS platform. Designed and shipped production NLP pipelines — intent recognition, entity extraction, dialogue management — powering conversational assistants used by millions of business travelers.
13+ years of freelance software engineering across creative, enterprise, and interactive domains.
Founded Omacatl, an event-organizing venture producing large-scale food and cultural festivals in Bangkok. Produced Tacofest Bkk and Singha Food Fest — handling full-stack event production, digital platforms, branding, and on-site operations.
Built Claire, the company's B2B SaaS conversational assistant sold to corporate travel agencies — handling booking flows, itinerary management, and traveler support through natural language. Early-stage travel-tech startup; acquired by American Express GBT during COVID-19.
Led engineering across digital signage, AR, and interactive installation projects in Southeast Asia, including the True Mobile Red Box platform (internally 'iMedia CMS') deployed to 11K+ Android screens across Thailand's 7-Eleven network. Managed a cross-disciplinary team of developers and designers.
Built interactive installations and enterprise software for banking, retail, and hospitality clients across Thailand — spanning Unity 3D, WPF, ReactJS, WebRTC, and real-time Firebase applications.
Developed interactive experiences and game prototypes in Unity for this Mexico City creative studio, exploring emergent AI behavior, player agency, and real-time 3D simulation.
Built educational mobile games for Android and iOS addressing Common Core State Standards for K–2nd grade, including math quiz, card-matching, and survival-action titles using Unity 5.
Taught Unity game development as a certification instructor at NYCE, covering interactive programming, game mechanics, and real-time 3D fundamentals.
Developed automated test frameworks and QA tooling at one of Latin America's leading software studios, contributing to large-scale web and mobile QA infrastructure.
Four-year apprenticeship at Mexico City's SODVI game development collective. Lead programmer, Unity instructor, and game designer — shipping prototypes including Pimo (Square Enix Latinoamérica contest) and two Global Game Jam titles. Foundation for all subsequent interactive work.
Internship at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Built VR simulations in Unity 3D exploring trauma and psychological experience — work that led to the PTSD Kidnap Simulator research project.
Apprenticeship at Centro Multimedia del Centro Nacional de las Artes — Mexico's primary national arts institution. Studied game development, interactive design tools, and digital media within an arts production environment.
Selected Work
Full digital platform for Tacofest Bangkok — one of the city's largest food events. Produced under Omacatl, an event-organizing venture focused on bringing large-scale cultural and food festivals to Thailand.
Non-profit video streaming and production initiative founded during COVID-19 quarantine. Produced and directed live broadcasts, yoga and mindfulness sessions, and podcast episodes via OBS. Built and maintained the website, and developed a donation system that raised ~30,000 THB for charity. Grew to 300+ members.
Full digital platform for the Singha Food Festival. Produced under Omacatl, an event-organizing venture dedicated to large-scale cultural and food festival production in Thailand.
Psychological journey through the mind of a schizophrenic person. Developed with Unity 5, Blender, and custom CG shaders. Exhibited at LEIVA 2015 at Centro Nacional de las Artes, Mexico City — the country's foremost national arts institution.
Virtual AR sculpture exploring collective intelligence and cloud computing. Interactive installation using mobile devices, augmented reality, and real-time Twitter data to create evolving 3D forms. Exhibited at Centro Nacional de las Artes, Mexico City — the country's foremost national arts institution.
Production platform where client AI workflows live: document extraction across three languages, expense and purchase-order flows, approvals, and AI chat over the client's own data — backed by MCP servers that expose each customer's systems as tools for Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini. Multi-tenant by design — adding a customer's next workflow is configuration, not a new project.
CMS and player monitoring system (internally 'iMedia CMS') for the True-branded red digital signage boxes at checkout in every 7-Eleven in Thailand — +11K Android screens. System architect and team leader for a serverless architecture using Node.js, React, and native Android.
2D platformer developed at SODVI collective and submitted to the Square Enix Latinoamérica game contest. Play as Pimo, a small creature navigating a hand-crafted world with tight platformer mechanics. Built in Unity with custom 2D art and audio.
